Ladies Fellowship Luncheon                                    September 20

There will be a Ladies Fellowship Luncheon on Wednesday, September 20th at 11:30 AM on the Front Porch.  Bring a salad or dessert to share.

 Family Ministry Open House                                    September 24  Sunday, September 24th from 12:30 – 1:30 PM (after 2nd Service), We invite you to join us in your child’s classroom where you will meet the teachers and learn more about how we are coming alongside you in the spiritual education of your child.  Bring the whole family. A light lunch will be provided.

Celebrate Recovery                                                   September 25

The Emmanuel Foursquare Church Celebrate Recovery family is hosting a special night.  We wish to extend an invitation to you as our guest for this event. This event is in support of other Celebrate Recovery Families in our area. It is also informational to those who have no prior exposure to Celebrate Recovery. You are invited to share in a meal and fellowship time with us but also to hear the testimonies of those who are active members of the local Celebrate Recovery family.  Leadership members will be available to answer questions or give guidance in Celebrate Recovery matters. The church doors open at 5:00 PM with a meal at 5:30 PM.  Fellowship, prayer, worship and testimonies will follow the meal.  FREE Oil Change                                                              October 7

Saturday, October 7th will be our annual FREE Oil Change here at Emmanuel beginning at 8:00 AM. This will be for single moms, widows and wives of deployed military. Call the church office at         (785) 825-1943 to schedule an appointment and bring an oil filter with you.

Wednesdays At Emmanuel

A new 8-week series of classes for adults and children will begin on September 20th at 6:30 PM.

  • Romans verse by verse – Everyone attending this class will get a free copy of Pastor Loren’s commentary “Reigning in Life” which will be the basis of the class taught by Pastor Loren.
  • How to Be with Our Children – Taught by Pastor Steve and Sandy Houltberg from the Book of Deuteronomy Chapter 6. Adults, Parents, Grandparents, and Kids will all be together learning how to have a conversation and make memories etc.
  • Dave Ramsey’s Financial Peace – This will be a 9-week series led by Nathan and Miranda Knopf (Starts Wednesday, September 27th)
  • Spanish Speaking Bible Study – Will continue to meet in room 5. Taught by Debora Dominguez.
  • Small Group – Will continue to meet in room 4. We study Gods word together, encourage one another and pray for one another.
  • Divorce Care – This 9-week class will start on Wednesday, September 27th at 6:30 PM and will be led by Linda Dunstan and Pam Wiechman.                                          

MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers)

Are you a mom?  Do you remember those crazy days of raising young children?  MOPS is an organization dedicated to helping moms of preschoolers connect with other moms in the same stage of life.  We are looking for volunteers to help with childcare so these moms can be encouraged and uplifted at the MOPS meetings.

We meet at Emmanuel Foursquare Church from 9-11am on the 2nd and 4th Thursdays of the    month from September to May.  If you are interested in being a volunteer once a month, twice a       month, or even once in a while, contact Julie Chamberlin at 216-218-2281 or email her at .  We will also be having an informational meeting on August 31st from 9-11am that you can come to and find out more or ask specific questions.


Crafts, Workshops, Small Businesses
